Okay guys, you all know the rules. Anyone can vote, including contestants, but not for your own work, polls are open until Sunday evening, and the winner will be announced on the News Fader on Monday. Happy posting, and thanks for entering!

Enter in #3 instead I don't know whether to go for Phoenix or Payne (my personal preferences). For story quality I'd vote Phoenix, because it's powerful stuff and it sets up for what looks like a great story, compelling reader and all that. But for writing quality I'd vote Payne, because it's well-written and thus compelling in its own way. I think I'll vote later after I've given it some thought...Well done, guys, you've done so well that I'm stuck

Don't panic, don't panic! Thanks for letting me know, I'll just recount them when I close the poll.
So that's Phoenix 3 votes...nice going, Phoenix...
EDIT: Right, I've decided to vote Payne, so if we shift Payne's vote onto Phoenix's poem, that stands as Phoenix 3, Payne 1. Polls are now closed...Congratulations Phoenix!
