Cold bloody war
In the gloom the gathering storm abates Dark black guns, getting ready to turn man to ash. I sit with my head in my lap Death and pain, just another day.
Will this war, will it ever stop Why can’t sun shine once again There’s smoke, corrupting the air Monsters lie all the way back home They think there right, sending men to there graves
The cries of pain, they echo through the air I see them fall, nothing more then pieces in a mad mans twisted game. I look over the top and see, the land filled with blood. Why won’t it stop, do we even know why we’re fighting anymore
Is this all my life will be? Nothing but a cold bloody war I’m not asking for sympathy Just some change…please.

Patriotic War
A partiotic war they claim More like a bloody war. In months we fell back Deep into our homeland. They pulled as many men possible From everywhere we came Gave us a unifrom And only half of us a rifle.
A simple order is what they gave us Five rounds the gave us. When the man with the rifle dies The man with out the rifle picks it up and shoots. We wonder if they are trying to destroy us Make us lose the war by giving us nothing. They bunch us together close to the old city hall. Our enemies expect us.
No one retreats they order Pain of death they continue. A whistle blows the order is given We charge. Screaming our heads off Our flag carried at the front A human wave charging Across the remains of the city
The enemy unmericfully cuts us down I watch as people I only knew for moments, Fall. I pick up a rifle. I stumble and fall Cut down like my comrades.
Surrounded by uncountable bodies The dying groans can be heard Slowly my grip fails Life is leaving me Even when I'm surrounded by many, I know, That I'm dying alone.

Friends long gone, I could not save A cold wind sweeps across the long deserted battle field. The souls of many the victory of none Their bones lay untouched, The vultures bow their heads at the sacrifice Friends old and friends new, gone, all gone I am alone
I alone to raise the glass I alone this Christmas past Next Christmas will be the same and the next will be so forth till I die. I will be alone
Now my lord comes to take me away, I give in to my illness in sake of peace. The bullet never got the better of me, yet I let myself go. I did not die in battle that day; mine was the harder path; To live a normal life with blood on my hands.
Medals earned but never claimed, I live my life in shame, shame of that necessary deed, to save a life I took one, and lost mine in the process.
I die now, never seeing me unborn grandson to walk with him talk with him, to see him become a man. To tell him how proud of him I am, never did he do a thing to earn it but always will he have it.
I go now to my lord, and to my friends.
does this one count?

Child’s Play
Play. A simple child’s game. Play. A contest never the same.
Play. A small fight breaks out. Play. The members scream and shout.
Play. One man dislikes another. Play. To embrace a country as brother.
Play. The first shot fired. Play. Every last man hired.
Play. Guns, roses, blood, missiles. Play. War, death, crime, trials.
Play. Nuclear Detonation. Play. Demonic Salvation.
Play. From one scale to the higher. Play. However big, it fans the fire.
