This roleplay is a spin off from Forgotten, but anybody can join since you don't need to have a great deal of knoledge about the old roleplay.
The basic plotline is, the new Hades has decided to try and rebuild the underworld, and make it a place worth living, for some people. He also needs to make some places hellish for the unclean souls. However many people factions don't like what he's doing, a lot of people in The Underworld and on Earth liked or worshipped the old Hades. The new Hades has enimies all around him, so he enlists the help of some beings, there meant to stop the enimies gaining to much power, and assist him in rebuilding The underworld.
Name: Loki Appearence: Long blonde hair, that flows down his back, a pointy face and a malcous grin, he wears sparkly, bright colours that seem to change in the light. Backstrory: He's the God of mischeif, but he was bansished from Vahalla (the place where his family lives) because he was to greedy and wanted to much. He tried to mount a resistance and called favours of every God he could find. Yet he never payed back the debts, he thought he didn't have to worry about them anymore when the old Hades died, but the new Hades called in the favour, he is now forced to work for the New Hades, until Hades feels that he does not need him anymore.

Name: Rondis Appearance: Twenty-something, thick ginger hair and the start of a reddish beard Backstory: Most of us all know Rondis already: he and Orion the Hunter overthrew Hades in the first place, then went on to settle the war of the Gods and fall in love with the now-god Laura, daughter of Zeus. He has now returned to earth as a guardian of humans, though able to return to Mt Olympus whenever he wants. He is very much in love with Laura but he still finds humans fascinating, and not being a God himself, he feels he has to do something to help them.

Loki stood in a dark cave, his long blonde hair was flapping around him, underneath him there was a slow flowing of water that was coming in and out of the cave. His green eyes slowly obsessed the situation, it looked as though Hades had got the better of him, this time.
Loki wondered what he would have to do, he knew there were many enimies coming after Hades, he supposed it would be his job to destroy them, he was a God after all.

[glow=red,2,300]Did you mean 'assessed' when you said 'obsessed' there? [/glow] Rondis hadn't forgotten the park in Manchester. It had changed much since he had spent time there, but he hadn't forgotten it. Now, when his duties took him to the area, he would spend long evenings in the park, watching the children play, listening to conversations of humans, enjoying the weather, be it good or bad. There wasn't weather like this on Mt Olympus. He quite liked the rain, because it brought with it a solitude that couldn't be found anywhere else. No one really knew who Rondis was. Some scattered humans were aware of his presence as a stranger who had helped them in difficulty, rescued them from danger or pointed them in the right direction; but no one knew who he was. If there was any sort of communication between humans, Rondis thought, they'd be aware that he'd helped almost two thousand people in various troubles over the last three days, with the powers of Mt Olympus behind hi, of course, although they were not to know that. It wasn't the helping itself that Rondis enjoyed--it was simply being around the humans that fascinated him. But as he sat this rainy night gazing up at the clouds, he missed Laura. He decided that he would wait the week out, then return to Olympus for a while. No matter how much he enjoyed earth, there was nothing he loved more than Laura.

Slowly the ground started to twist and bend, air started to shake and a grey mist rose out of the swirling floor. Slowly Loki rose out of the chaos, Rondis stared in shock. Loki's decietful eyes looked quickly to Rondis's then back to the floor. "Hello, Rondis, I don't believe we've been properly introduced, I'm Loki, God of mischeif, prince of lies." "I know who yoou are, Loki, what do you want?" Asked Rondis quickly, Loki's presence made him uncomfortable. Orion had said he was dangerous. "Well, my commander." Loki paused, a shadow passed across his boney face, it went swiftly. "My king, Hades, has told me, to ask you to help, you see, he's proposing some radical changes in the underworld, but not everyone wants them, demons are coming at him from all sides. I suppose he wants the aid of someone who has the God of piece on his side...can't see why." Rondis eyed Loki suspicously. "Why did he send you, why not come himself?" Asked Rondis slowly "What are you? Thick? Hades can't leave the underworld, the only reason he mannaged to leave last time, is because there were two in the world, meaning the rules change." "I don't know, can I speak to Hades?" Asked Rondis, he wondered what help he would be doing, if he joined the Underworld. Loki sighed a little, then produced a mirror in the air, for a second all Rondis could see was himself, then the pale relfection of Hades was staring back at him.

"Hello, Rondis. Long time no see." "Hades," Rondis said, still wary. "I didn't think you would be entirely persuaded by Loki here. Let me explain. I need your help to restore the Underworld to what we both know it should be." Rondis didn't say anything for a moment. He couldn't think of the Underworld without thinking of the old Hades, of his particularly large Hydra. What if, somehow, this was some insane trick? "It pains me to have to ask of your assistance, Master Rondis," Hades continued, "after all the trouble I caused you and your friends. How is young Laura? I couldn't get a contact with her." "Lines must be down at Mt Olympus," Rondis joked without smiling. Hades chuckled, then cleared his throat. "My most sincere apologies, Rondis. I can see I'm bothering you. I'll leave you, but remember...remember you are always welcome here. There are many who would be glad to see you here again." Before Rondis could question this, the image faded, and Rondis was staring back at his own confused face. "Quite the talker, isn't he?" Loki said acidly. "Well, don't just sit there. If you're coming with me you'd better make it snappy."

Eventually Rondis decided that he trusted Hades enough to let himself be lead to the Underworld, he didn't, however trust Loki at all. "Fine, I'll come, but I'm not to keen on you taking me there." Said Rondis catiously "Hmm, well, I'm afraid there's no one else powerful enough to take you there, without, well killing you." Loki's eyes flickered dangerously, Ronids took a step back, he didn't like the look in those eyes. "Sorry, it looks I'll be your taxi for the night." Laughed Loki, his boney hand shot forward and stabbed Rondis in the gut, he coughed and spluttered in pain. Suddenly the world was falling away from him, it felt as though everything was crumbling around him. Then he was falling, falling through time and space, great planets and realms rushed past him, for a moment he felt as though he could see everything, the sight was amazing. However as quickly as it began it was over. He was standing on the cold, hard ground of The Underworld. For some reason the sights escaped his mind, they were to hard to hold onto.
The Underworld looked very different, it wasn't as dank and dark, the smell of rotting flesh had gone. Flowers bloomed from the soil, trees rose up in the dark cavern, light seemed to be emitted from every part of the Underworld. That wasn't however what shocked Rondis most, to his surprise and joy, Orion, was standing in front of him.

For a moment Rondis simply stood and stared, still largely unable to breathe properly from Loki's assault. Orion stood with a small smile waiting for him to speak. Rondis finally found his tongue. "Oh, Orion--!" Orion didn't react fast enough before Rondis threw his arms around him. He shrugged, warning himself to move out of the way a bit faster next time. Rondis released him again, grinning broadly. "Didn't expect to see me here, did you?" Orion said. "I don't know why I never thought to look for you here before," Rondis replied. "How's life?" "What do you expect? Non-existent," Orion said. "I thought you vowed never to come back here." "That was before I knew you were here," Rondis joked. "C'mon, let's get to work."
[glow=red,2,300]So how about Laura? Is she here too?[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]She's probably still in Mount Olympus, but I assume she could go back and forth.[/glow]
For a while Rondis didn't know what he meant, what work could there be to do in The Underworld, the place seemed to be flourishing.
At that moment Hades appeared in front of them, he slowly and powerfully rose out the ground, it seemed as though the whole Underworld bet around his will, a white glow shot out of his angelic body. "Welcome to The Underworld, I trust you, find it more acceptable on this visit." Hades casually waved a hand over the flourishing Underworld "Yes, absolutely." Said Rondis, still grinning, after meeting Orion. "I thought you might, however, things still aren't perfect, I'm sure my servant Loki told you, but people want to bring it back to the place it used to be." Said Hades slowly, a angry gleam seemed to take control of his face, and the light in The Underworld dimmied slightly. "But your a God, how could they do that?" Asked Rondis. "I am a God, but you know from expirience that Gods can be defeated, it may take entire armies, but they can." "But, I don't know, I got the impression that you were stronger then the old Hades" Said Rondis "I am, the old Hades never fully unleashed his power when he fought you the first time, he was to blinded by his own confidence. And the other two times you faced him, he was weak and dying, so really, you never fought the real Hades. Yet even he had his restrictions, when you beat him the first time, for some reason it freed his soul from his body, in the split second it took for me to come to life, he fled The Underworld. Usually, it is impossible for Hades...him or me, to leave the Underworld, thats where you come in..." Explained Hades "What do you need us to do?" Asked Rondis "Have you ever heard of Pandora's box?" "Isn't it the box that contains all the evils in the world, when Pandora opened it, all the evils were released?" Asked Rondis, now curious. "Yes, thats pretty much it, accpet for one important fact. Pandora didn't open the box, she's trapped inside it. You see, she was one of Zeus's old wives, he offended him badly. To punnish her he put all the evils in every world into her then locked her in the box. The evils torture her etenrally, day and night they eat away her soul, she's in constant agony. Yet they also grant her great strength. Its said that if one opens the box she will become there slave...she has the power to kill and destroy even me." Said Hades "And I'm supposing someone's trying to find the box, and you need us to stop them because you can't leave here?" Asked Rondis "Yes, exactly!" Said Hades, glad he didn't have to go into anymore detail. "What about me? Dead souls can't leave The Underworld." Said Orion "That myth is slightly made up, I can grant life to whomever I wish." Said Hades...he went onto say. "And I will grant it for you, just to preform this last task" Said Hades kindly. "No, I allowed myself to die, I don't want to be cast back into this cruel world." Said Orion getting slightly angry at the the thought. "Yes, I thought you might say that. Have you wondrered why you haven't seen your love here yet." Asked Hades slightly slyly. Orion paused for a moment, Rondis knew Orion well, he knew he was going though every option he could think of. "Your keeping her from me, when I do the quest you'll allow us to re unite." Said Orion, his temper rising. "Very good, it was Loki's idea, not mine." Loki laughed at the mention of his name, Orion shot him a cold look. "That being said, I must admit it worked like a charm, so do you except my terms?"

For a moment Orion and Rondis paused, considering all the option, it seemed as though they had little choice, The Underworld couldn't got back to how it was, it just couldn't, and as much as Rondis hated to admit it, there was something alluring about the thought of another adventure, and this time to save the world from all its evil.

"Okay then," Rondis said eventually. "I'll do it." He turned to his friend. "Orion?" Orion sighed. He was being tricked, he realised that, but the idea of being back with Lucy, his one true love, the love he didn't even know existed before she graced his life, was too strong to resist. "Okay," he said in a low voice. "I'll do it."
[glow=red,2,300]You know what would be cool? If one of the characters became somehow tempted to open the box. Good for building tension between Rondis and Orion again. How about this: Rondis (as it was my idea, lol) starts having dreams/visions of Pandora, who is this gorgeous seductive but somehow sad woman, who implores him to release her. Then as it goes on, Pandora could start threatening him, e.g. with Laura or something. Then when it comes to it, Orion (who'd probably have figured it out by now) would have to persuade him not to, or stop him somehow. What do you think?[/glow]

"Do you know where Pandora's box is?" Asked Orion "Alas, no, I don't, but I have someone who does." Said Hades rummaging around in his pocket, sunddenly he withdrew his long white hand, and inside it was frog, it croaked desperatley trying to get out of Hades powerful hand. "This thing, was the first of the many that opposed my will, I transformed her into an animal, she now serves my will. It is her that knows where pandoras box lies."

Rondis' eyes widened. This was going to be slightly stranger than he had anticipated.
Two hours later he, Orion and the frog were back in Rondis' park in the real world. Rondis had borrowed a small glass tank after having to chase the frog on three separate escape attempts, and was now holding it firmly between his knees as they sat on the park bench. "So, how are we supposed to talk to this thing?" Orion was watching the frog with his eyebrows raised as it pitifully pawed at the glass. "Ask it nicely," Rondis suggested, grinning. He slowly eased the lid of the tank up. "Now then, don't think about jumping out, but we need to--hey--HEY!" he slammed the lid back on again. "I said DON'T think about jumping out! Look, if you keep that up I won't let you out at all. Now are you going to talk to me or am I going to bury this tank?" The frog simply looked at Rondis for a moment with a surprisingly human-like expression, then sat down on its haunches. "Okay." Rondis nearly dropped the box in alarm. Orion quickly took it from him. He pulled the lid off. "What's your name?" "Genivive," the frog grumbled. "At least it was." It spoke with a strange accent that neither of them recognised. "And who might you two be?"
