Name: Monique Bitis (Bitis is Adder in Latin)
Gender: Female
Super Name: Viper
Costume: not really needed. Although always wears a pair of slim black businesslike wraparound sunglasses to hide her eyes. When her powers are in full use she develops a green snaky skin which she can shed in an instant
Looks: slim athletic and perfectly groomed with bright bottle blonde hair and pillar box red lipstick. She also wears a red or green nail polish on her sharp long nails that is infused with deadly snake venom. Her attire is always immaculate and usually consists of a sharp (and expensive) business suit an expensive leather jacket and matching handbag and snake or crocodile heels (most commonly patent with a sharp stiletto heel). Her sunglasses hide two normally acid green eyes which take on a reptilian slit iris when her powers are in use. Smokes an expensive cigarette brand but always with a cigarette holder to avoid getting her fingers yellow and is reported to occasionally hiss when she breathes in and out especially when stressed.
Weapons: Should she desire to, her eyes have the ability to paralyse or turn to stone any person who dares look into them as well as heat seek and X-ray. She can spit poison at will at uses a memorisation technique similar to that of a snake to distract her victims’ attention for her to attack. Also trained in ninj-itsu Monique is deadly in hand to hand combat and of course her nails serve as a pretty efficient weapon
Story: Not known. Monique is Chief networking officer and director of public relations at Eclipseisoft

As the first blows fell, Hunter concentrated on his defense and let his muscles settle into the rhythm of the fight. He wasn’t as competent as he would have like to believe before if he’d been completely honest with himself. He'd hardly practiced hand to hand combat in the last years he got the uncomfortable feeling that the demon than inhabited his lovers body would relish murdering him in an unfair fight. He'd imagined gotten much better as time had passed, but he couldn’t feel himself into thinking that he'd ever surpass powers like the ones he faced now. Several minutes of dodging and attempting to get past Loki’s defenses while never landing a blow himself had exhausted him. In almost a last ditch effort of resistance to prove himself worthy as an opponent Hunter began to batter at her as if to pound her into the ground. He had expected a quick defeat and easy humiliation, not an equal opponent, but this was worse than he’d ever contemplated. Hunter was fighting for his life. Loki wouldn't be content with grazes and an easy victory; she was out for blood. He swung a roundhouse punch; .One last ditch attempt at knocking her off, saving himself a little grace with which to fight on. She staggered back when he slammed his fist into her shoulder. Her disconnectedness was a godsend, clearly exposed by her lack of co-ordination now; Hunter could see. But he wasn’t strong enough to fight her off here in such an enclosed space, he had to flee now. He took his chance out of the window knowing that the others would be safe without him, it was his blood the demon craved. Keyts Park – City of Keystone Hunter paused for breath behind a statue; a magnificent angel set on top a black marble plinth. As he waited he could hear the approach of wings and knew his time was almost up; he had been discovered. He remained crouched in his hiding place; waiting. She set down on top of the statue folding her great wings about her and he knew she was there and waiting foe him. He sprung from his hiding place before she could place him fully hoping that the surprise might give him an advantage. The fight that ensued was fierce and bloody. Loki unrelenting, murderous rage coursing through her veins; Hunter fighting for survival against such anger. Loki jumped, dodging a blow to her legs, then smashed Hunter across the chest with a ball of energy but she was falling apart, everything about her was going to pieces; she couldn’t last much longer. He just needed to wait, be patient, hold up. He bent backward and felt the electricity swish past his nose. She was loosing control totally he thought with grim satisfaction, she’d have hit him already if she wasn’t. He paused, listening for movement. The rustle of broken wings to his left. He turned, lashed out blindly, felt his fist connect with muscled flesh, heard a soft “Oomph.” Loki jerked backwards in pain stumbling. The noise was deafening, a barely audible buzz, but there it was clear as day; the sound of running feet; She turned. A body careered headlong into her, throwing her of balance into the park bench with a thundering crash. Splinters stabbed into her arms. Loki cried out in pain There was a piercing scream and a heavy thud, Ghost had arrived just in the nick of time! Lokis wings, now a bloodied mangled mess, lay like a crown of thorns impaled on top of the stone angel where he had caught her she crouched on her hands and knees, bleeding in the dust. An expression of pain on her delicate features she stood up but her strength wasn’t enough to sustain herself as the demon screamed in agony inside her. For an endless second she held Hunters horrified eye contact. Looking deep into her eyes he saw his lovers pain, and he could see the demon being drawn from her; dying inside her! As her mind and the agony of her injuries overwhelmed it. Then before his eyes her pupils took on that all to familiar dilation and she collapsed listlessly onto the floor…..
Hunter walked over cautiously, lifting her limp body from the floor gently then took off into the nights’ sky…..

Earlier, Back in Quay Bank
A sleek dark purple Bugatti Veyron drew up outside the smart townhouse and an equally sleek woman dressed in a sharp black business suit and sunglasses her hair immaculately styled got out to be met at the door by a similarly smart woman, bottle blonde and vaguely snaky “Good evening Miss Darkstar” “Evening Monique” the dark woman removed her sunglasses as she entered the house “Where is he?” “He’s in the third bedroom, starting to come round” said Monique. Tracker woke up drowsily with the feeling that he had skipped a long time. He knew he should remember but he couldn’t….nothing….right back until he’d heard the news of his sister’s death. It was fuzzy from then, almost a blank, unrecognizable as memory. “Ah, you’re awake” a woman’s voice floated somewhat distantly over the air yet the voice was unfamiliar to him. “Where am I?” he muttered “who am I? How did I get here?” “Number twelve, Almond Crescent, Quay Bank, in the city of Keystone” came a second woman’s voice. Tracker could vaguely remember who he was and why he was here now and it filled him with bitterness and anger. He opened his eyes to find both women standing anxiously over his bed “We, my friends and I, rescued you from the streets, you were unconscious, we brought you here and nursed you back to health” said the dark woman kindly, Tracker was unsure about this for some odd reason but saw no reason not to believe it, he was starting to like these two highly polished women, whatever unease he had felt had melted away. “My sister is dead” Trackers recollection was hazy “she was killed here, I came to find her killers” Juliana held back a smile “Aww you poor thing” she said empathetically “is there anything we can help you with? I feel so sorry for you” “Dusk Ravenstar” said Tracker as if recalling from a distant dream “Help me” “Ravenstar” said Monique raising her eyebrows interestedly Juliana shot her a silencing look “Dusk Ravenstar you say; yes we have heard of her haven’t we Monique” she said softly “Quite tragic, her death. I heard she was pushed off a skyscraper by some so-called superheroes, terrible how these people can get away with things like that isn’t it” Juliana watched with pleasure at his reaction. Trackers fists had clenched and his body tensed. His arteries throbbed “The supers that killed your sister are known as Hunter and Incendury” said Juliana “a pretentious pair if truth be told, I hate to think of poor Ravenstar suffering at their hands. Oh God. They’re working for Serena Goldcryis at the moment, a little bird told me the fight that killed your sister was over her” Juliana was playing with his mind “I’m so sorry I can’t do anything more to help you, I only wish I could, after all your story is so tragic” “just tell me where I can find them!” said Tracker hot with anger…..

[glow=red,2,300]You could, but Dusk Ravenstar's dead...[/glow]
Juliana smiled with an acidity that was far beyond Tracker's noticing. She stood up and moved to leave. Monique turned to him. "What is your name, child?" Tracker hesitated. Two names came into his hazy mind...the clearer one, Tracker, and another one, that he couldn't quite place...Freddy Teague. Feeling pressurised by the calm woman he chose: "Tracker." Monique raised her eyebrows but said nothing. "Okay then, Tracker. You wait here; everything will be okay. Get some rest, you've been quite ill. We'll be back by morning. She stood up and exited, closing the door. Tracker watched her leave, and as the door slowly closed the reality of what they'd been talking about seemed to surface. "Sian..." That was her name. Not Dusk Ravenstar, but Sian Teague, his older sister, the one who, throughout his younger life, had always been his friend, sister, parental figure and everything else he'd always needed her for. Tracker drew his knees to his chest and hung his head, tears in his eyes. For several minutes he sat quietly crying, not wanting to attract the attention of the kind women outside. They'd helped him; they'd saved him from this Incendury and Hunter. The names rang distantly in his memory but he could recall nothing more of them. Slowly his hands curled into fists, and his crying ceased, and his sorrow became replaced with rage. Incendury and Hunter...they would pay.
[glow=red,2,300]And there he is...Tracker is back in all his glory.[/glow]

Serena regained conciousness, tucked under the covers of her luxurious bed in the master suite of her penthouse apartment, as if returning from a troubled dream after a night of too much alcohol; she certianly did feel hungover. Straining her eyes against the bright mid-day light. How long had she been here? what time was it? Oh god, it was almost two o'clock in the afternoon! this passed through her head before she noted the absence of the deamon that had possesed her for so long. her mind was free once more. She smiled to herself Still feeling under the weather and every muscle in her body aching, she stood up gingerly reaching for a velour trackuit draped over the edge of a chair; dressing herself in a drowsy way and padded through to the kitchen for some coffee Leaf was in the kitchen making herself somthing to eat, she looked up when Serena entered the room. "Oh hi" she said breezily "you're up then" Serena groaned painedly "listen Eve, about the whole trying to kill you thing" she said "i'm really sorry, I didn't mean it" "that's ok" said Leaf brightly "you weren't yourself; it's cool. do you want anything
Hunter poked his head around the patio doors to find Serena seated with her back to him at the table talking to Leaf, she still looked tired and a little fragile, but she was awake! "hey Serena" Incendury slipped past him onto the terrace "did you you think you'd given us the slip there then?" Serena turned round smiling broadly and happily "I did try Matt" she joked "but you guys were just too good for me." She caught sight of Hunter behind him and her heart rose. she smiled at him holding his gaze with her deep eyes and Hunter could see she was herself again. She smiled at him and as if on cue he drew up a chair beside her and sat down next to her putting his arm around her and kissing her because he couldn't hold back any longer "I've missed you so much" he said. Serena smilled "I missed you too"
