Before Ahelos could identify the voices the plane jolted down onto the ground. They had landed, and Feln and Julius were already unloading the plane of their weaponry. Ahelos considered to go to fetch Captain, but noticing Flak already in the medical bay with her she decided not to. She followed Feln and Julius instead. Flak lifted his unconscious sister and carried her out of the plane.

[glow=red,2,300]Okies[/glow] Feln and Julius lead the way into the building. Flak took Captain up to her dorm; he wanted to stay with her but he had to speak to Monroe immediatly. He left the dorm and headed downstairs, not noticing Ahelos waiting for him to leave around the corner. As soon as he was out of sight, Ahelos hurried to Captain's dorm. She was concerned that Flak would find her and make her stay away from Captain, but her concern was too high to stay away. What she had done was the only thing she could have, but if it had indeed restored Captain's strength then it confirmed her fears. The Vampire blood in her could easily have been passed to Captain when she'd bitten her, and it was well known that vampires could be restored by the taste of blood... She gently pushed open the door. Captain was lying on her bed, her eyes closed; she looked still very much unconscious. Ahelos sighed, and turned to leave-- "Ahelos?" She spun around. Captain had sat up, and was looking at her. "Captain--" Ahelos ran back to her. "Are you okay?" "I feel fine," Captain said slowly, confused. "I mean, I feel sick and my head hurts, but...I feel better than before." Ahelos wasn't sure whether to feel glad that she was better or bad because of what she'd done to Captain. She sighed, wondering how to let her friend know what she'd done... [glow=red,2,300]Go for it, Ahelos [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Tote island is correct. NO REAVERS THERE!!![/glow]
Ahelos left the room and went to walk in no particular direction. She walked out into the sunlight and bumped into Flak. "Watch where your going!" he shouted at her "Sorry" flinching slightly incase Flak tried to hit her. Flak didn't and just went inside. Ahelos continued to walk. She didn't know where she was going.
After an hour of walking Ahelos rested by a tree near a cliff edge. She recognised it but she couldn't remember from where. Ahelos drifted off to sleep. She had the same dream again. Her standing on a cliff, she recognised where she was now. The same voice called her. She turned around and the man was back again. This time she noticed in the background the tree she was sleeping next to. It was still a sapling. "Jay" Ahelos said and then woke back up. She cursed. Why couldn't she just stay asleep long enough to remember it.
Ahelos stood and looked at the tree. It seemed to had been there for ages. Maybe more than fifty years. Ahelos couldn't be over eighteen, she certainly didn't look old enough. What was going on she thought.

Flak sat down beside Captain. "How're you feeling?" "Okay, I guess," Captain said. Flak studied the ground. "What did Ahelos do to you?" he burst out suddenly. "I don't know," Captain said. "I can't remember...I just remember being on the plane and her being there..." She turned away, gazing out the window. She remembered more than that: she remembered Ahelos's voice, and blood. What exactly had happened she couldn't say. "I don't trust her," Flak said distractedly. "She could have killed you." "She didn't mean to..." Captain realised that this sounded pretty weak. How could she not have meant to? "I'll ask her," she said. "If she knows anything about it. What did Monroe say, by the way?" "He's not happy about the loss of weaponry," Flak said quietly. "He wants to talk to you when you're feeling better." "I feel fine," Captain said. "I'll talk to him." She stood up. Flak watched her go to the door. "I hit Julius, Kerry," he said sadly. She turned back to him. "I didn't want to. He hit me first." "He did?" "Well...no. I was smoking, and he tried to stop me." Captain came to stand beside him, hands on her shoulders. "You told me you'd given up." "I had. But I was so...I don't know. I was having these visions...you and Sendae...I felt...terrible..." Captain didn't move for a moment. Flak's lip trembled at the memory. Captain sighed and embraced her brother. "Just apologise to Julius, it'll be okay. I'll talk to Monroe then Ahelos. Don't worry about anything, Riley." She left the room, leaving Flak standing in the middle of the room, despite what his sister had said, still worried.

When Captian was walking out the room she decided she wanted to get things sorted with Ahelos first. However as she started heading in no particular direction to find Ahelos she heard her name being called out from the right of her. She looked and saw Monroe "Major, shouln't you be in bed resting?" Monroe said sternly "I'm feeling a lot better...thanks to Ahelos" Captian commented "Yes about that, i was just coming to talk to you about that. What happened? Are we still able to trust her...you do know her best"

Strictly, Monroe would address Captain as Major now. But no biggie Captain hesitated. "I can't say for sure, Commander, but I certainly trust her. I was going to talk to her now...Ask her a few questions..." She was conscious of Monroe's eyes on her neck, where her hair temporarily hid the scars where Ahelos' teeth had touched. "Very well, Major," he said. "I hear you managed to loose a great ammount of weaponry on your way...Well, you go find Ahelos, but I want you back resting as soon as you're done. Can't afford to have you wearing yourself out too much." "Thank you, sir." "And I'd keep an eye on your brother if I were you." Captain spun back around. "Why?" Had Monroe heard what Flak had done? "He just seemed a bit distant when I was talking to him. Maybe it's overwork. Get on your way, Major." "Yes sir." Captain hurried outside where she found Ahelos sitting deep in thought under a tree. She sat down beside her without speaking. Eventually Ahelos spoke. "Do you know anything about Vampires?" Captain shook her head. "Occasionally they can be made when a human is bitten. Usually a bite kills humans, so it doens't make a difference. But the way to sustain a bitten human is...by letting them drink the Vampire's blood. That's...that's what I did to you, Captain. I think..." She took a deep, nervous breath. "I think I may have changed you, Captain." She hesitated. "I'm sorry."

"You did what?" said Captian a little shocked, but not to shocked as she had been expecting something like that "Im sorry, i just didnt want you to die, there was nothing else i could do...you had lost to much blood...it was the only way" Ahelos hung her head and looked at the floor Captian knelt down next to Ahelos "No Ahelos, i thank you for saving me from...you biting me...i would rather be alive then dead. I think it would be a good idea if we dont tell anyone this yet though. Not untill we know for deffinate" Captian said. "Captain...Kerry...i keep getting flash backs...i think i used to live here, i remember this tree, but from when it was a sappling. And i keep hearing voices but not seeing faces. Someone said i was going to die...then another voice said he couldnt let me die, not after he had only just found me...he said he loved me. I think who evers voices i can hear turned me into a vampire, to save my life. i saw one of thier faces in my last flash back...i remembered his name, Jay, the one who said he loved me I want to find out who they are, i want to find out about my past..." Ahelos said sadly

[glow=red,2,300]Stop picking holes, Aulius [/glow] Captain regarded Ahelos for a moment. "Maybe," she said eventually, after Ahelos had explained her vision in detail. Knowing that she and Captain had something in common now gave Ahelos a certian confidence in her. "Maybe you were once here, and the person who turned you into a vampire sent you away, like you said, and that's how I found you. It would explain the whole sapling thing...Vampires live for thousands of years, don't they? But, don't Vampires need to avoid sunlight?" "Apparently not," Ahelos said. "There are different types, I think." Captain sighed, sitting back against the tree. "This is scary," she said eventually in a low voice. "Flak's acting weird...he'll be angry when he heras about this...he's already worried about Sendae...and I'm..." She didn't really know how to finish the sentence.

"It's ok Captian, you dont have to say" said Ahelos and hugged Captain "If needs be i will leave, i will leave as not to cause...upheval with Flak, i dont want to cause anymore pain then i have. Maybe i could see if Jay is still alive...and why i have this stupid wings..." Ahelos said while flapping her wings
"CAPTAIN! GET AWAY FROM THAT SHE DEVIL! Shouted a voice from behind. Both Ahelos and Captain turn round to see Flak running up to them in a storm of rage...

"No shes not!" Captain shouted back "Get back to base I will talk to you later and thats an order!" Flak was fuming but obidiently left.
Ahelos looked out to sea. She was lost in her thoughts, her past was a huge mystery to her. Before she had left Monroe said he would look into it. She wondered what he had found out. "I'm going to find Monroe" Ahelos finally said, She stood up. "Ok, I'm going back to bed, its odd, no one saw you come in when we first found you" More mystery was there to solve for Ahelos. She sighed and went off to find Monroe.
Ahelos found Monroe inspecting a platoon of soldiers. Many of them hadn't reached twenty. She stood not too far away and waited for Monroe to finish. Monroe soon finished and noticed Ahelos waiting next to some barrels. He strolled over brushing bits of dust from his uniform, trying to make an effort to stay looking respectable. Ahelos stood to attention and saluted. She didn't actually know how to do it but she did properly apparntly. Monroe saluted back. "At ease, walk with me" They walked over towards the destroyed hanger, "I suppose you want to know what I've found out then. Well...where to begin. I took one of your hairs and had it analysed for your DNA profile. As standerd we check military files first. What was odd was that we found a file with your name on it. Inside the picture was identical to you, however it was taken fifty-two years ago." Ahelos was shocked. How could she be over sixty and look so young. "Wha..what? How is that possible?" she stammered "Well you were sergeant, so I gave back your rank because of that. You went missing about two years after the photo was taken. You were helping in a top secret project developing instantanious travel, now known as port jumps. You were the first to go through one but you dissappeared. Where you reappeared a week ago was about where the old facility was in which the port gate you were suppose to come out was. Don't ask me how, I'm a military tactitian not a scientist." Ahelos couldn't believe what she was hearing. She had missed so much of her life, everyone she may have known was dead. Chances of finding out how she became part vampire would still be a mystery.
Monroe stopped and turned to her. He took off his sunglasses. "A long time ago I was a private...after training our group was split up around the world. While I was going over your record I noticed that we had been in the same training group" "How come you didn't recognise me?" "I got hurt awhile ago, I won't go into it but some of my memory went" Monroe sighed, "Do you remember the name Jay Monroe?" Ahelos gasped, could he be the same Jay that she could remember in her dreams. Out of no where a flash back happened. This time she was talking to Jay, she couldn't see much of the room because it was dark. They were playing cards, Ahelos was winning. Out of nowhere a voice came it whispered "Hey, Monroe check this out!". She came out of the flash back. "Yes, yes it does. I remember you as if it happened yesterday" "Theres one more thing. Because of your vampiric nature I'm guessing that you are even older than you think"
This was alot for Ahelos to take in. She turned away and continued to walk away. Who am I? she thought to herself over and over again. Even when she got to her bunk she could still not guess at who she really was.

Flak charged towards them and hit Ahelos in the face, as he turned around to see his sister he saw that she was pointing a gun at his head. he stared at her. "You would kill your own brother? AFTER ALL I'VE DONE TO HELP YOU!" He shouted. "Flak, your crazed." said Captain worridely. her eyes widened "..you've got dimentia!" Flak suddenly fell to his knees and began rocking back and forth as if he were cradling a baby. his breathing was unsteady. "I'm n..not m...m..mad." he said in a slightly mental voice, he then began to laugh, high pitched and uneasily.

So we finish the business outside between Flak, Captain and Ahelos then use Aulius' post for when Ahelos goes back inside.[/glow]

Captain smacked her brother hard around the face. Ahelos gave a small scream as Flak fell backwards. Captain threw down the gun and leapt onto Flak, shaking him. "Pull yourself together, Flak!" Flak's eyes were tightly shut; he grabbed Captain's hands to make her stop. Captain stared down at him as he breathed heavily, his eyes still closed. "She'll hurt you," he mumbled. "She wants to hurt you, Kerry." "Ahelos is my friend," Captain said gently. She released Flak's shoulders. "Don't worry, Flak. It's all okay." "I don't want you to get hurt," Flak said quietly. Then suddenly he broke down, relaxing in his sister's arms. Captain pulled him up and hugged Flak as tears built in his eyes. Ahelos stood to the side, watching nervously. Captain held Flak tightly, whispering to him. "It's okay, Riley, everything's okay. We'll be fine. Nothing can hurt us. We've got through everything and we'll get through everything. Nothing can touch us." "Nothing," echoed Flak shakily. "Nothing." Flak slowly raised his arms around Captain. She helped him to his feet, still holding him close. "Let's go back inside," she said quietly. "Come with me, Riley. You need rest. I'll stay with you." "I don't want..." Flak cast a nervous glance at Ahelos. "No one will come near us," Captain assured him. "I won't let anyone. Follow me, Riley. We'll be okay." Captain cast an apologetic glance at Ahelos and led Flak back inside. Ahelos sat down dejectedly, watching them return to the building. Captain led Flak inside and upstairs to their dorms. Flak said nothing, letting himself be led by the hand. Captain warned away anyone who came near with sharp looks and no one disturbed them. Rico ran into them and begna to question, but Captain shook her head and he backed off. Upstairs Captain led Flak into his room, closing the door behind them. Ahelos stayed sitting under the tree for a while, thinking about what she'd done. She was worried that she'd broken the relationship between the twins, and about what Flak would say when, if, Captain told him what had happened. She was disturbed from her silence when she was approached by...

Ahelos could not fall asleep especialy afer she thought she heard Flak wail, maybe Captain had told him? She tossed and turned in her bed for ages, until she eventually fell asleep...
"I'm sorry Sir, but she's going to die" said a voice. "I can't loose Ahelos, not after i've only just found her again. Isn't there anything you can do?" said a pain stricken voice that she reconised. "There is one thing, but she must never be allowed back here, your father wouldn't let it. We would have to erase her memory of everything then leave her somewhere where the humans can find her..." said the first voice again "But...i love her...i can't loose her" there was a long silence "okay" the man said again "We will have to dump her somewhere with the humans. I will make some pretend memories for her, get her to join the military, she would be good at that. People may ask about her wings though...which will be a problem. you must never follow her....Jay? Are you listening to me? I know you love her, but you have to try forget her" said the first voice "I understand my friend, but i might have to find her, bring her back to her rightful home...but i will wait many years. Untill my father dies" said Jay
Suddenly Ahelos woke as she could feel someone breathing on her "What did you do to my sister?!" sobbed a voice she reconised as Flak's He didnt seem to want to kill her, which was good. Maybe this would be a good time to talk to him and sort things out...?
