Meanwhile Orion stumbled out of The Furies house, he had no intention of finding Arissa at the time being, she had lyed to him and he was going to kill her, but at that point in time he was more concerned with finding Rondis and Laura, something told him that Rondis probably wasn't the best person to send on that trip.

Rondis sat back, tears streaming down his face. For a while he sat, completely silent and still, tears alternately trickling down his cheeks as a storm of emotion tore through him inside. This is wrong, he thought angrily. All of this is wrong. I shouldn't be here. Laura shouldn't be here. Laura shouldn't be dying. And I shouldn't be feeling this way. He gingerly wiped at his eyes and looked over at her again. It's true, he thought sadly. I love Laura. I am in love with Laura. The words didn't sound right when applied to the friend they'd faced so much with before, but he'd felt this way for so long now that he couldn't help relenting to it. Stars above, he thought, Orion, if you're there, please help us.

[glow=red,2,300] The Furies just want to kill everyone, and freed Orion to kill Arissa but Orion's more concerned with Rondis and Laura, so he's trying to find them whilst Hades possessed Arissa and wants to kill Laura [/glow]

Orion started the long walk away from The Furies house, there was something special about where The Furies lived, it was in a fairy tale world. Not the natural one, which basically meant that if someone wanted something bad enough, they would be taken to it. At that point in time Orion wanted to be at the mounatin more then anything, slowly he felt his legs being taken away from underneath him and his arms dissapearing, he was rushing through space and time. Suddenly he was there, standing in front of Laura and Rondis, who looked up in shocked horror...he had prayed and it had come true.
Meanwhile Arissa or Hades, were rushing as fast as they could to the Mountain, they couldn't get there as fast as Orion did, but it was still pretty fast.

Rondis' eyes widened. "Orion..." Orion smiled breathlessly, somewhat taken aback by the sudden journey. "Hey, Rondis." "Oh, Orion!" Rondis leapt to his feet, staggering in exhaustion, hurried out into the rain and threw his arms around Orion. Orion started, alarmed. "You came...Orion...you came..." Rondis' voice was somewhere between exhausted and delighted. Orion put his arms around him, smiling. He could hear that Rondis was, or had been, crying. "It's so good to see you," Rondis whispered. His knees gave way and Orion went to the ground with him, drawing back. Rondis looked terrible compared to how he'd looked when they'd parted. Orion considered pointing it out but decided now wasn't the time. "How's Laura?" Rondis wiped his eyes with his sleeve and pointed back towards the shelter. Orion clapped his shoulder and stood up, hurrying over to her. He rolled Laura over; gazing in anxiety at her. Rondis followed Orion back into the cave, having regained his self-awareness, to some extent. "She looks better than I'd expected..." Orion muttered. "But not much...has she been unconscious all this time?" Rondis nodded. "I didn't think we'd get there in time," he mumbled. Orion tried to ignore him and stay focused. "We should find some better cover than this," he said. "To keep her warmer. The rain's dying off, we should go before it gets heavier again." He gently lifted Laura into his arms. "Thank the stars you came, Orion," Rondis said as they stood up. "I wouldn't have been able to do this if--" "Shut up, Rondis," Orion cut in. "We don't have time. You can be all sentimental when we get back to the hotel." "If," Rondis said. Orion rolled his eyes. "Yes, if. If they let you in looking like that." Rondis stared at him for a moment as though he'd forgotten the basic principles of jokes. Then he smiled. He still looked a sorry, defeated mess but he was smiling none the less. "Thanks."
[glow=red,2,300]So, Ralph, they can have their argument on the way now...okay?[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Yeah[/glow]
Slowly the scaled the way round the moutain looking for some better shelter, the cracks in the wall that they could fit in were few and far between, Orion stopped suddenly, it took Rondis a while to realise. "Whats the matter?" Asked Rondis, Orion showed Rondis that there was a door in the moutain. "Well thats, odd." Said Rondis, he was starting to feel safer now that Orion was around, he didn't have to cope with this on his own anymore. Orion tried to turn the lock and to his surprise it opened. The door lead to a staircase that seemed to climb forever. "Hmm, I guess this leads to the top of the moutain." Said Orion slowly, looking up. "So why don't we go in?" asked Rondis. "Well, I would suspect it to be guarded." Orion Replied, slowly the and cautiously the entered the door. As soon as they got through it slammed behind them. Rondis turned around in shock, there was no door any longer and looked as though there never was one. Now it was just them and the seemingly never ending steps, or so it would have seemed...

Together they began to climb, Orion up front with Laura in his arms and Rondis following, casting frequent glances bewhind them. The staircase seemed to be narrowing until it was barely wide enough for them to move in single file. Every now and then passageways led off to the sides but they barely went a few paces before becoming blocked by cave-ins. Finally Orion found a small cove in the side of the staircase that may once have been another tunnel that a rock-fall had turned into a little cave. He lay Laura down at the side of the cave and set about making her as comfortable as he could while Rondis lay at the back, sleeping. Orion couldn't help glancing at Rondis every now and then. The boat journey seemed to have taken a lot out of him, he decided, and Rondis wasn't the most level-headed person at the best of times, so it was no wonder that he was completel exhausted by now. They hadn't had time to discuss exactly what had happened between now and their parting, so Orion had said nothing about his talk with the furies, and neither had he asked Rondis about his trip in more detail. He sat back against the wall beside Laura, sighing. Now every time he looked at Rondis, lying asleep calm and quiet, all he could think of was his suspicions of what had happened before. Was it possible for Rondis to feel anything for Laura? Strange images and imaginations invaded Orion's mind, and he turned away, safe in the knowledge that he would be getting very little sleep that night.

Hades finally got to the mountain, she scaled the wall looking for them but she couldn't find the group. He was in such a rush to get to them that she missed the passage way that lead into the mountain, at the moment he wasn't thinking very logically and assumed that they were at the top of the mountain, he rushed up as fast as he could, the moutain seemed to go on forever, finally he got to the top. The sight he saw was magnificent, it had been such a long time since he had seen Mount Olympis. The golden bulilding rose high up into the sky and probably into space. It had many different compartments for Gods, the sun shone down on it making it look magical. Guarding the main entrance way was a Griffin, it looked strong and healty, meaning they had not entered the bulding. Suddenly a shot of lightning came out of the building, Zues was still in a mood with the rest of the Gods.
Rondis woke early in the morning, Orion was tossing and turning in his sleep, Rondis crawled over to Laura. "Please, stay with us, I hate the fact that I love you but I do, please." Said Rondis holding her hand, it was cold and icy. Orion slowly opened his eyes and saw Rondis hold her hand. For once he didn't know what to do, he tried desperately to convince himself that ther were friends nothing more, but this was almost impossible.

Rondis was rearranging his and Orion's cloaks around Laura. Orion watched from the other side of the cave, still pretending to be asleep. He couldn't hear what Rondis had said, but he saw his hand around hers, saw him fondly brush her hair from her face, and saw him gently kiss her cheek. "I knew it!" Orion leapt to his feet, startling Rondis. He released Laura's hand and spun around. "What? What do you mean?"

"You, your in love with her." Spat Orion standing up "No, I'm not." Said Rondis defensivley "Yes, you are, she's half your age...whats worse is your kissing her, when she's ill, she can't defend herself, its basically rape." "No, its not, I'm being her friend!" Yelled Rondis, anger and fear rose up in him. Orion grabbed him by the throat and lifted him of the ground. "You listen to me, you peice of shit, I need you to help me get Laura up the mountain, but I'm going to be watching you, one false move and you'll be going of this moutain much faster then you climbed it." Threated Orion "Get your hands of me!" Shouted Rondis, hitting Orion in the face, to Orions surprise Rondis was much stronger then he looked, Orion let go of him in shock and spat some blood on the floor. "Tell you what, we'll get Laura better, then you and me are going to have a discussion about this." Said Orion furiously

For a moment the two of them stared heatedly at one another, positively glaring each other down. Rondis turned his back on him and moved back to Laura, but Orion pounced, pushed him aside and picked up Laura himself. Rondis glowered at him until Orion had left the cave and was heading up the stairs. He followed, lost for whether to feel angry or upset. All he felt was pain, and not from where Orion had grabbed him.

As the climbed tears started to stream down his eyes, he couldn't beleive this was how there friendship was going to finish, yet was that was really getting him so upset, he wanted to think that it was, but a big a part of him knew that there was a more sinister reason, with Orion watching him, he knew he would never get Laura to feel the same way about him. As soon as he thought this he felt sick to his stomach, but it was true. Orion kept walking, he didn't know how he was going to deal with Rondis, it wouldn't be right to kill him, he didn't even know if he was strong enough, he couldn't forbid Laura from seeing him, after all she was her own person, he did not own her. Why did things have to be so complicated. Somewhere very far ahead Orion and Rondis both saw a light, shinning down the stairs, they were almost to the top of the mountain, Orion picked up his pace, so did Rondis. It seemed as though the light gave them a refreshed hope, it got closer and closer. Finally they were out of the staircase. Rondis gasped with releif as the freash air wased over his face, it cool and beufitul. Orion breathed it in, before he could regain all of his strength, he felt a blow to his face. Arissa was standing over him, fire welling up in her emeraled eyes, Laura fell to the ground and Arissa rushed towards her, she was cut of by Rondis. She growled furiously. "Are you ready to finish this, bitch." She said to the helpless Laura.

Rondis dived at Arissa and tackled her off her feet, slamming them both to the ground away from where Laura lay moaning. Arissa kicked Rondis off with shocking strength, knocking the breath from him and sending him sprawling across the stone ground. Arissa leapt up as Orion did, seizing Rondis' sword where it had clattered to the ground. He pointed it at Arissa. "What are you doing here?" He couldn't believe the strength with which she had just thrown Rondis across the space like he was a child. Arissa smirked, then laughed, then spoke with a voice that was not her own. "Taking my revenge, Orion. Taking what's mine." She sprang at Laura again.

Orion swung the blade as quickly as he could, it cut her in half, for a second she lay still, then her body reattached itself. "What?" Asked Orion shocked, Arissa burst out laughing, a manic insane laugh. "There not your eyes." Said Orion slowly looking into Arissa's green eyes, there was something behind them, something cold. "No, your right, do you reconisge me, Orion. I'm a God." Laughed Arissa "No! You died." Shouted Orion angrily "What can I say, I've never been one for rest." Laughed Arissa, Rondis snuck up behind her and grabbed her round the neck, she smiled and tossed him round, Rondis flew through the air and almosto of the clif, he held on with one hand. Orion went to attack her again, but she was to and tossed him to the ground, he felt one of his rips break benath him, he couldn't get up, everything hurt. Rondis struggled to climb back onto the cliff, this was how Laura was going to die. Suddenly a bolt of lighting came out of the sky, Arrisa fell to the ground. A beast of a man was standing in front of her. His great blue eyes blazing powerfully. His muscles twitching and his blonde hair flying in the wind, which was starting to pick up. "Why don't you pick on somone your own size." He said.

Arissa shreiked in fury and launched herself at the figure. He raised both hands and Arissa was blasted back, landing deftly on her feet again. She raised her hands and shot a blast of crimson light at the figure, which he turned aside with another lightning bolt. As this was going on, Rondis focused all his energy and strength into hauling himself back onto the cliff, his hands slipping down each time he took hold of the edge. The sharp rocks were cutting into his hands and bood ran down his wrists. He managed to pull himself up for a second and saw Laura, still unconscious but moving, crying in pain as she raised her arms weakly to defend her face; and Orion, lying motionless behind the insense fighting of the Gods, on the brink of unconsciousness. Desperately afraid, Rondis gave a yell of pain and hauled himself onto the cliff, staggering but remaining on his feet. He ran past Laura to Orion, grabbing him by the shoulders and hauling him away from the fighting. Orion was barely aware of himself, lying half in Rondis' arms, as he looked up and saw the newcomer throw Arissa to the ground and strike her with a lightning bolt.

"So, this is what it comes down to? You and me. We're finally going to finish this!" Yelled Arissa. "It looks like it, you know how this is going to end, don't you?" Asked the man, another bolt of lightning came out of the air, it almost ripped Arissa in two, she lay panting on the ground. "I am a God, the same as you. I may not be in my own body anymore but that does not mean I have given up any of my former power." Spat Arissa "We're going to finish this, tonight, Zues." Suddenly the whole mountain began to shake, the ground they were fighting on started to move, corpses were pulling themselves out of the ground, they stunk and made Rondis want to puke, he and Orion pulled Laura back, until they were as far away from the battle as possible. "We're so going to die." Said Rondis miserably, there were over a hundred corpses advancing towards Zeus, four or five them decided they liked the look of Laura more and started moving towards her. "It looks like we'll fight together one last time, before the end." Said Orion, slowly getting to his feet, his ribs were screaming in pain but he knew he had to protect Laura. The wind and rain had picked up now, there was a full fledged thunder storm, Orion started swinging his sword and the fight continued.

Orion yelled and threw himself at Arissa, swinging his sword; she batted him aside and he fell to the ground, the sword spinning from his hand. Rondis pounced and grabbed it, taking Arissa by surprise as he struck immediatly. The sword blade sank into her arm and wedged there. Arissa sheiked and smacked Rondis in the face, and he stumbled back into the hands of two corpses. The blade of the sword melted and the hilt clattered to the ground. Rondis struggled against the strong, stinking hands of the corpses when an arrow suddenly pelted one of them between the eyes; a second arrow struck the other and they both fell to the ground. Orion swung his bow around to point at Arissa and fired again.

And that exact moment a ligtning bolt sent from Zeus connected with Arissa, the arrow stuck in between her forehead. Slowly she fell to the ground, as did the rest of corpses, Hades ghost flew out of her leaving Arissa cold and dying. Rondis couldn't help feeling bad for Arrisa, he put a bandadge he ripped of a bit of her clothes and tied it round her rooms, trying to stop the blood flow, he knew she was evil but he didn't think she should die in such a way. Hades ghost hovered over head. He was weak again, but not gone. "This isn't over! I will be made flesh again!." He screamed and dissapreared into nothingness. There was silence, and suddenly Zeus saw his daughter whimpering on the ground, he rushed over to her in horror.

Orion staggered towards Rondis. They looked down at Arissa: she was shivering and pale. Hades had drained her from her strength, and she felt herself weaken by every passing second. Cold sweat was running down her cheeks and she slowly opened her eyes. It was then that she realised, she only had one fear, and that was death. All her life she had been doing whatever she can to avoid it. She tried to sit up, tried to pull herself away from the ground, but she collapsed back. That was her last attempt to live. Her green sparkling eyes fell on Rondis, then on Orion, before they slowly closed forever.

Rondis gently placed Arissa down as rain began to pour from the sky. THey turned to look at Zeus, holding Laura in one arm. "No need to explain" he spoke "I know what's happened, and I know what to do" "Laura will be a goddess?" Orion asked. ROndis looked at him in confusion. "A goddess?" ROndis murmured. "It's the only way she'll live" Orion tried to explain. "But if she's a goddess.....we wont be able to see her again...." The words trailed off as ROndis realised his fear was about to become reality. Zeus looked at them both. "Go home" he said "Live a happy life. I thank you both for saving my daughter, and I will do something about the weather." With that, he turned around and disappeared into the mist. "Nooo!!!" Rondis cried out. He collapsed onto his knees. Orion placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze. He looked at the starry sky and knew that one day, they will all meet again.
