Tell me your secrets Tell me your shame Tell me your pain
Cast out down below Forced to watch as my loves burn Pain surrounds me, burns my ears I'm the lord of light
Betrayers of Gods Hoars and sluts Rapists and muderers I see them all, there all I'll ever see
There is know forgivness in heaven The soul can be made clean I want to make him see There is no hope in hell, but is there hope for me
I watch as people burn I watch as bodies break I watch as minds crack I'm the Lord of light
Let me out Let me be free Watching all this torture is killing me I'm The lord of light and all I see is agony

I don't know what to say about some of the poetry posted here, you know. It tends to suggest things about the poet. I like it, Spawn, don't get me wrong, I think the poem's great, but I do worry about people like you and Patches..
Just felt I had to say that. But no, it's good, I like it

It was about the devil, not me. I was trying to say that the devil wasn't that bad, he beleived in forgivness so God made him be with the people he wanted to forgive, but he could only watch as they were punished...has nothing to do with me.
Plus its meant to be kind of happy, suggesting that there's hope for everyone.
Plus thats where the whole lord of light thing comes in, the devil was the angel of light before his rebellion

Yeah, I know....I think it's a great interpretation. Sorry, I didn't mean to point the finger, but you know, poetry can be an expression of truth, and I do worry...But it's a good poem, now I see the thought behind it. Good job

Sorry, but I'm curious now...How can that be seen as me expressing stuff I feel, I only ask since I have tendency to do that and not know it, so I wanna know if I did that time. And thankies for the kind comment.

Well now I read it in more detail, this particular poem couldn't really be an expression of truth, least of all from you, Ralph.
Quote: "Cast out down below Forced to watch as my loves burn Pain surrounds me and burns my ears I'm the lord of light"
You gotta admit that there can be traces of truth in lines like these ^^ and influences from real life experiences, not in your case but it could be possible. And in some things that Patches has written, it's more down-to-earth and more what I'm talking about. I think my comment would probably have been better suited somewhere else and not on this particular poem, because now you say it, I can see that it doesn't really have any links to real life, but it just caught my attention and I said it.
So if any of that made sense...
